Monthly Favourites | August 2015

Hello lovelies! So this is going to be my first proper blog post of the year and it's my monthly favourites!  ( I'm sorry the photos are pretty rubbish but I'll start using my camera instead of my phone. I have been really enjoying doing my make up this month so that leads onto my first favourite

The Loreal infallible 24-hr matte has been my favourite product this month, I can honestly say to you that this is the best foundation I have tried, I use the shade 11- vanilla and it is such a perfect match for me. I've been looking for a good full coverage foundation for so long and this is so good, it gives me such good coverage but it doesn't leave the skin feeling cakey or heavy and it matts my skin but still leaves my skin looking a little dewy but not oily which I love!

My second favourite is the collection eyes uncovered pallets in the nude shade, I brought this quite a while ago and wasn't very struck on it when I first brought it so just chucked it in my makeup draw and when I was clearing it out the other day I came across this and happened to give it another go and I'm so glad I did as I can create so many natural looks, I have mostly been reaching for the fourth shade along for my whole eyelid and the last dark shade in my crease and it just looks so nice and casual.

Another massive favourite of mine has been the NYC bronzer, I heard so many people raving about this and people said it was a dupe for the hoola bronzer so I picked it up it was super cheap and it really does a good job! I find some bronzers make my skin look like I've picked up a pile of dirt and rubbed it over my face but this makes me look nice and glowly the shade is called sunny and it's perfect for contouring and it's not glittery at all.

My last beauty favourite has been bene-tint I love the natural colour this gives and it's so easy just to throw on when your leaving the house, this has had a permanent place in my handbag I have yet to try this as a blush but I'm willing to give it a go.

I recently purchased the Jimmy choo perfume in the scent flash and I'm obsessed, it's such a long lasting scent and is really mature, I don't really know how to describe the scent but when your next in Debenhams or boots go and give it a sniff because I love it!

My last favourite of this month is the soap and glory - the righteous butter I'm obsessed with the smell of this and it's the inky moisturiser that actually helps my skin as I get very dry skin. I only have a sample that I got in a gift set but I will100% be purchasing a full sized tub!

A Fresh Start

Hi lovelies, it's been a while. Well I fact I haven't blogged at all this year whoops!

I've decided to start up my blog again as I've missed it so much I've probably decided to start it up at the completely the wrong time as I go back to college next week but I'll try, I'm going to make a new Twitter for this blog which should be up in my next post which I'm hoping to be up very soon. I look forward to sharing my blogging life with you again!

Sheinside Review

Hi there!

I recently ordered some clothes off Sheinside so i thought i would do a little review and show you the bits i got. I ordered four things but i haven't got any pictures of the jumpers so just imagine you see that!

The first thing i opened was this dress and i love it so much! It is a stripy shift dress and i think it was about £10. Im not very confident in dresses but i felt so nice in this dress. I brought this for my aunties party and im going to dress it up with jewellery and some heels to make it more dressy, i love how this can be casual and dressy. The material is so nice for how cheap it was so im pretty impressed.

The next thing i ordered was this cardie, i wasnt expecting much because it was only £12 i think so i though it may be a little scratchy or to big but it came and it fitted perfectly and the material is so soft and so cosy! Ive already worn this to college and it kept me so warm and cosy and i just really love it!

This is possibly my favourite thing out of the whole order! This is a oversized stripy tshirt which it the warmest cosiest nicest material i have ever felt im actually in love! This was only £8 and is the best buy from my order and im so happy with it. I just paired this with a chunky necklace and black skinny jeans and it looked so effortless and nice!

Overall i was so happy with my order, it did take 3 weeks to come but the quality of the stuff made me forget all about that, the prices are very reasonable and postage was free so i would 100% recommend this website to you they have 1000's of things for great prices!

August Youtube Favourites

Hello Lovlies.

Today i wanted to make today's blogpost a little bit different, i was thinking maybe every month i could do a blogpost on people and videos i have been loving on youtube as well as maybe doing a normal favourites blogpost. I dont know if this would be something you like reading but let me know in the comments.

The youtubers i have been loving the most this month is the sacconejolys. If you don't know who they are you can find there channel here. I love them so much because watching their videos can instantly cheer me up, they are a Irish family that have recently moved to the UK. You have Jonathan, Anna, Emilia and Baby Eduardo. When they married instead of Anna dropping her name would put both together so you get Sacconejoly. They also have 6 Maltese dogs which are adorable! This family daily vlog so every single day you get a new video and a look into their life, i love how you can watch the children grow up and i would 100% that you give one of the videos a watch!

Another youtube family i enjoy watching not only this month but for the past year or so have been the shaytards, you can find there channel here. They are such a joyful happy family, even my mum enjoys watching them with me. You have Shay which is the Dad, you have mommytard who is Colette,  then you have sontard who is Gavin, princesstard who is Avia, babytard who is Emmi, rocktard who is Brock and lastly you have the new baby who is brotard but his real name is Daxton and he is the cutest baby you will ever see! I love this family because you can see how much there family has changed over the past 5 years they vlog every weekday and make my evenings worthwhile so i would check them out as well if i was you!

This is Louise who is also known as Sprinkleofglitter. You can find her channel here. Louise is someone i look up to, you might think it is weird to look up to someone who isn't exactly famous but i would be happy if i was half the mother she is to Darcy to any of my future children. She is such a strong women and can always manage to make me cry with laughter in her videos. I have been watching her for almost 2 years now and its been such a pleasure to see her channel grow. She should be way bigger on youtube because she is such a big inspiration for everything she has gone through so check out her youtube channel if you need to be cheered up or want to smile.

My favourite video this month was only posted yesterday so i don't really know if it counts but it is this one by Caspar Lee, you can find it here. It is such a heartwarming video and if any of my friends were to speak about me in the way i would be a mess because it is the cutest video I've seen. Caspar is usually one to joke about loads but this was on of his serious ones where he talks about how proud of his friends he is. I think ive been watching him for around 3 years now and i love him and his videos and he appeals to everyone and im so proud of how much his channel has grown.

Our Moment: Review

I am back with another review today and this time it is on one of my favourite products i own! As you can probably tell today's blogpost is about One Directions - Our Moment fragrance. I love this so so so much, the packaging is so cute and reminds me of something princessy. This fragrance is meant to be a 'fruity, playful fragrance with fresh fruit and seasonal flowers hints with undertones of warm musk. I'm not really sure what all that smells like but this does smell so good!

This is the top of the lid and many people have said how they don't really like the packaging, in a way i agree and in a way i disagree i love the shape of the bottle and the cute fancy writing and the lid but its not really that suitable to just throw in your bag because of the odd shape. I also find that the smell doesn't have a very good staying power so i would like to be able to throw it in my bag but it does look rather cute on my dresser.

I got the biggest bottle available of the perfume and it has lasted me quite a while. I got it around this time last year and i have just under half the bottle left considering i touch it up like 3 times some days so it is good quality for the price you pay. I think i  paid around £39 for it but it is cheaper in some places. The smaller size is £21 for 30ml and the medium size is £29 for 50ml and mine is £39 for 100ml.

My verdict on this product is that it is good value for you money if you don't want to take it around with you and i give it a 8/10.

Cosy Sunday Outfits

Hi there!

This is just going to be a really short post today about an outfit i wore last Sunday. It was a rainy day so i wasn't planning on going anywhere and this is what i wore.

It was a really simple outfit, i just had an over sized grey thin material jumper on which is so cosy and comfortable and was only £5 from primark! I was also wearing black leggings from primark which were only £3 and for the price you cant go wrong although these do start to wear a bit thin so you can see your underwear so i only really wear mine indoors just in case. I was also wearing the cutest socks ever which i got from London zoo, they are supposed to look like ladybugs and are so comfy and are the softest thickest material and keep my toes nice and toasty warm, i think these were like £3 and they had so many different sorts.

Sorry this was such a short post i just wanted to add here how i got my GCSE results and I'm so happy with there i got mostly B's and C's which i was shocked when i see them because i didn't think i would get any B's and the same day i found out i had a job interview and the on the Friday i found out i got the job and start next Sunday! I may not be blogging as much as I'm starting college and starting work but i will find time to blog because i love it!

New dressing table

Hi there!

Ive been searching for a dressing table that i like for months now and i found one which i loved and it was on offer at £30 and when i went to buy it i found out it was sold out and they wasn't getting it restocked, so i searched again looking for one that i liked until i found this one! This is actually a Ikea desk but i brought a mirror and i use it as a dressing table. It was my first time putting something like this together and i done it all by myself, can i have a round of applause please?  I did actually struggle quite a bit but got it done in the end. This desk was on offer for the Ikea family for only £29 and then £9 delivery so i brought it and then the mirror i have on it is from the range and was £9.99 so it was a bit of a bargain. 

I literally love the detailing on the mirror it is really vintage because they have worn the paint in places and it matches perfectly with my desk and it the perfect size for me. But it just looks so much more expensive then what it actually was.

On either side of the mirror i have my deer pot which i have a blogpost on which you can find here. I also have my Hollister spray which i don't really use that much but i think it looks quite pretty but is more of a summer scent so i wont be using it any more this year. I also then have a pink candle and i cant remember the scent of the make but it smells delicious and i love it. Then i have a picture of me and my bestfriend, i just have that there because its pink and it all matches and looks adorable.

On the other side of have more beauty products behind the stuff i have my makeup brushes and its a shame you cant really see them as the pot they are in is so darn cute, I then have my urban decay setting spray which i use after I've done my makeup and does help me a lot because i have oily skin. I then have my body lotion which i put on my arms mainly because my skin gets quite dry. Then i have my Garnier micellar water which i love since i have been using it my skin has looked so much nicer and softer. Then i have my night time face cream which i put on after taking my make up off.

This is inside the draw which is a complete mess as the moment as i have yet to sort it out. I have so many bits in bobs in there like baby wipes, cotton pads, random pieces of makeup, hair spray, dry shampoo and some random hospital papers, i have no idea why they are in there. I might do another post on my makeup organisation when i get it sorted out if you would like to see that.

Lastly here is a picture of the whole desk you can see my makeup bag and naked palette there and overall i really love my desk and cant wait to get it sorted out and looking how i want it to look.
