Autumn Copper Eye Look | Naked 2

HelÅ‚ lovelies! I have really be loving playing around with my eyeshadow so latlely as we are coming into the colder season, I love being able to wear heavier eyeshadow and not worry about it melting off my face.

The other morning I created this look and I was so happy with it I had to share it on my blog (I had to blur out my college name if you wondering why the lanyard round my neck is blurred) this look is inspired by Zoella saying copper colours look really nice with blue eyes so I tried it out and really thought it made my eyes pop!

Firstly I started off with covering my lid with lots of the shade called chopper which is the beautiful coppery orange colour, I also brought this down under my eye which I don't usually do but I think it looked so nice with this look and then I put the shade snakebite in my crease to add a little more depth, I'm so happy with how this turned out and I think I will be wearing this look a lot. I think it would look so nice with a dark vampy red lip my favourite to wear with this look is the Rimmel Kate Moss shade in 08 which is possibly my favourite lipstick ever! I am going to try and add a close up picture but I'm afraid it's not the best!

MUA Elysium Eyeshadow Palette | Review & Swatches

Hello Lovlies, right now as i write this for the second time I am so mad, I wrote this whole post out and when I went to save it blogger deleted it! Anyway today's blog post is a review on the MUA eyeshadow palette, I think MUA is such a underated brand it has such cheap makeup items which are all super high quality, this palette was only £4 and personally I think it is a dupe for the naked 3 pallet all the colours are super simalar and this is only a fraction of the price!

There is a mixture of matte and shimmery shades, I find that the shimmery shades don't have as much of a good if payoff as what the matte ones do, but with a good eyelid primer I find all this shades last me all day. As you can see I have a favourite and this is the shade charm I love this shade because it is the perfect matte and it is a lovely all over the lid shadow and can be worn anytime of the year.

I like to use the light shades like air and cherub as highlighter shades as they have a lovely glow to them. Down below you can see some swatches of the shades so you get a rough look of what they are like out of the pan. Personally I'm obsessed with the palette and for only £4 it's a complete bargain, I would recommend this to anyone if you are into pinky new shades!

Do you have a favourite MUA product? Let me know in the comments if you do.

Collection Contour and Highlight Kit | Review

Hi lovelies!
After seeing Zoe (zoella) talking about this contour kit in her favourites video I had to try it out and I'm so glad I picked it up! I picked it up from superdrug and when I brought it I think it was on an introductory  offer so it was half price and was only £2.79 which I though was a right bargain!

After using this product a few times I though i am able to give it a review now as I know what it's like, for the price this contour kit is brilliant, the bronzer isn't at all glittery and it's such a nice colour and doesn't make my skin look dirty it looks like a really natural glow, I have been applying it with a contour brush which is one from the brand that eBay do and it applies really nicely and I can say this is one of my favourite bronzers so far.

The highlighter is such a beautiful colour and gives my cheeks the most perfect highlight, it's a little bit shimmery but not to much to the fact you will look like you're sparkling. I've never been very good at highlighting or contouring but this kit it's completely fool-proof as on the back it even has a little diagram which shows you the best places to put the bronzer and the highlighter to get the best affect.

That's it for this post, let me know what your favourite contour kit is in the comments as I'm really interested in trying out some more kits! Love Shelby x x

The Best Nail Polish Ever?? | Next Nail Polish Review

Hello lovelies!
I'm back this week with a review/ rave about the next nails vanishes, this are the best nails varnishes I have tried to date. The colours I have from left to right are fairy cake which is a matte shimmer, well jel which is a one coat coverage and Miami Heat which is a tinsel effect. I love the names they are just as pretty as the colours themselves!

My favourite has got to be well jel and it does exactly what it says on the tin it only needs one coat and it's completely opaque, I often find when I go to work my nail varnish chips so easily but this is the only one I have found which managed to last. I have yet try the other colours on my own nails but I have tested them out on my mum and she loves them aswell. The price of these are £4 and they were in a 3 for 2 offer so they only cost me £8 which to me is a complete bargain as these nail polishes are so good!

I would recommend these polishes to anyone as they are so good I will definitely be going back to purchase some other colours.

Monthly Favourites | August 2015

Hello lovelies! So this is going to be my first proper blog post of the year and it's my monthly favourites!  ( I'm sorry the photos are pretty rubbish but I'll start using my camera instead of my phone. I have been really enjoying doing my make up this month so that leads onto my first favourite

The Loreal infallible 24-hr matte has been my favourite product this month, I can honestly say to you that this is the best foundation I have tried, I use the shade 11- vanilla and it is such a perfect match for me. I've been looking for a good full coverage foundation for so long and this is so good, it gives me such good coverage but it doesn't leave the skin feeling cakey or heavy and it matts my skin but still leaves my skin looking a little dewy but not oily which I love!

My second favourite is the collection eyes uncovered pallets in the nude shade, I brought this quite a while ago and wasn't very struck on it when I first brought it so just chucked it in my makeup draw and when I was clearing it out the other day I came across this and happened to give it another go and I'm so glad I did as I can create so many natural looks, I have mostly been reaching for the fourth shade along for my whole eyelid and the last dark shade in my crease and it just looks so nice and casual.

Another massive favourite of mine has been the NYC bronzer, I heard so many people raving about this and people said it was a dupe for the hoola bronzer so I picked it up it was super cheap and it really does a good job! I find some bronzers make my skin look like I've picked up a pile of dirt and rubbed it over my face but this makes me look nice and glowly the shade is called sunny and it's perfect for contouring and it's not glittery at all.

My last beauty favourite has been bene-tint I love the natural colour this gives and it's so easy just to throw on when your leaving the house, this has had a permanent place in my handbag I have yet to try this as a blush but I'm willing to give it a go.

I recently purchased the Jimmy choo perfume in the scent flash and I'm obsessed, it's such a long lasting scent and is really mature, I don't really know how to describe the scent but when your next in Debenhams or boots go and give it a sniff because I love it!

My last favourite of this month is the soap and glory - the righteous butter I'm obsessed with the smell of this and it's the inky moisturiser that actually helps my skin as I get very dry skin. I only have a sample that I got in a gift set but I will100% be purchasing a full sized tub!

I hope you enjoyed this blog post, I haven't actually got a schedule to post but I'll will try to post frequently. Love Shelby x x
